Cerenity Journal ("we," "our," or "the app") is a journaling application for iOS developed and published by Cerenity. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Create

When you use Cerenity Journal, you create personal content including:

• Journal entries (text, rich text formatting)
• Mood selections
• Photos and images embedded in entries
• Voice notes and audio recordings
• Botanic Garden plantings (a record of which plants you have earned by completing journal entries, and the dates you earned them)
• Daily ritual configurations and completion records
• Future letters
• Custom journal templates
• Profile information (display name, profile photo)
• Passcode (if you choose to set one)
• App preferences (writing font, notification settings)

This data is stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud enabled for Cerenity Journal, your journal content is also stored in your private iCloud account so it can be backed up and synced across your devices. Your passcode and app preferences are not synced and remain only on your device. We never have access to this data — not on your device, and not in your iCloud. We do not transmit your content to any server we operate, and we do not share it with any third party.
