Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Cerenity Journal ("the app," "our app"). By downloading, installing, or using Cerenity Journal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cerenity Journal, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the app on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Service

Cerenity Journal is a personal journaling application for iOS that provides:

• A rich text journal editor with support for photos and voice notes
• Mood tracking with visual insights and analytics
• Customisable journal templates and daily reflection prompts
• Daily ritual tracking with streak monitoring
• A future letter feature for writing to your future self
• The Botanic Garden, a habit-streak feature in which completing a journal entry adds a plant to your personal garden
• Profile customisation and passcode protection
• Optional iCloud sync and backup of your journal content across your Apple devices

The app stores your user-created content on your device and, if you enable iCloud for Cerenity Journal, also syncs and backs it up to your private iCloud account so you can access it across your Apple devices and recover it if needed. This synchronisation is provided through Apple's iCloud and depends on your iCloud account and settings; we do not operate any servers of our own and have no access to your content. We recommend also maintaining backups through your device's standard backup mechanisms (such as iCloud or computer backups).

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create within Cerenity Journal, including journal entries, voice recordings, photos, templates, and any other user-generated content. We do not claim any ownership, licence, or rights over your content.
